Everyone at Yale is excited about the progress we are making on our journey towards excellence.
Apart from outstanding performances in the Investors in People re-inspection and the winning of the Overall Wales Quality Award, our examination results and value added have been improving year on year. Our inspection of Work-based Learning achieved the highest possible grades. Add to this the impressive changes we are making to our estate, including a brand new Engineering and Construction Centre and restaurant, and it is not difficult to see why the atmosphere at the College is extremely positive.

About Yale
An outstanding UK tertiary college, Yale College is renowned for delivering excellence in further and higher education. Its impressive results and state of the art facilities attract over 14,000 students every year to achieve the skills they need for employment and further study.
As well as providing education and training for most post 16 year olds in the area, the College is at the forefront of adult training, not only to meet individual aspirations, but also to serve the staffing needs of the diverse and expanding Wrexham economy.
The College aims to meet the needs of all members of the community from school leavers to the retired; from those wishing to improve their job prospects to those wishing to learn for the fun of it!
A Top Quality Profile
In November 2008, Yale was announced as the Overall winner of the Wales Quality Award, which organisations from across Wales compete for every year.
2008 was also the year in which the College achieved the highest work based learning inspection results in Wales, with no fewer that eleven grade ones.
Choice
Yale offers one of the broadest curriculum portfolios in Wales and provides a supportive learning environment at its state-of-the-art campuses, one on Grove Park Road in the centre of Wrexham and another half a mile away on Bersham Road where Engineering and Construction courses take place. The College also has some 13 outreach centres, many based in local schools, which have programmes of day-time and evening courses.
